Gamepass games not launching on device

Hi this is a problem my friend has been having with their gamepass subscription and I really want to help them fix it. About a month ago I got me and a friend gamepass subscriptions, mine worked completely fine even now however, my friend on the otherhand can't launch games installed from gamepass, we've tried different games and it still won't launch anything installed on gamepass. Everytime they try to launch a game installed on gamepass it would say something along the lines of "windows cannot access the specific path or folder because you do not have the right permissions" and it's really starting to bug me out since I don't want the subscription to go to waste and just expire without being of use. I'd really like a fix to this, thanks !

Will pillars of eternity 2 be on gamepass on launch for the console?

It does not look to be a Gamepass title at launch. Assuming how long it took for the first game to be added to Gamepass, I am doubtful you would see it in the near future.

you get that error because gaming services is not installed or updated, gaming services can only install and launch on standard pc architecture and not arm based devices.

the xbox app requires gaming services to be installed to be able to download most xbox app games (gamepass games).

EA could do just like microsoft with the gamepass, launching their games on EA access on launch day.

no codes ,just the game by launching the gamepass it does not run and the other games yes
