    Gamepass for Console Activated without Console


    Hello,

    I recieved a gamepass gift card recently and went to activate it on my PC. When I opened my Xbox app, no games were available and they were trying to sell me the Gamepass for PC. I do not own a console nor do I intend too.

    I have been bounced from Xbox to microsoft support and back already this morning. I would simply like the Console version of gamepass canceled and the PC version added to my account. What is my recourse here?

    You can cancel your current subscription at http://account.microsoft.com You may want to verify what type of Game Pass you entered. If it's Ultimate, you should still have access to Game Pass on PC.

    If it is just Game Pass for console, after you cancel you would have to purchase a Game Pass for PC subscription. It can't be converted to a different type of subscription.

    Are there any games available on xbox that are not available on PC on the xbox game pass ultimate.

    does not matter, ultimate is just the following

    cloud gaming

    gamepass for console

    gamepass for pc

    ea play

    gold

    so what you see on pc gamepass is what you get.

    PC gamepass is the following

    pc gamepass

    ea play

    gold is not needed for pc and obviously you don't need gamepass console as you are on pc.

    there are no games exclusive to ultimate, everything available on gamepass pc and console is the same with or without ultimate.

    If you are talking about gamepass for console you need core or ultimate to play online

    Gamepass for console is only access ro the games offline

    Any online only games won't work without core or ultimatw
