    I have spent the last 3 days trying to solve why cancelling game pass should deny me access to games i own on xbox1, even offline disc access? My experience echos a lot of users. Having been able to directly contact technicians (very loose term), once
    they determined my problem was awkward simply put the phone down on me! I then could no longer access direct contact or call back and recieved an email telling me that i had closed the case (the gall of these people). So i sideline my way through phoning seperate
    MS call centres till i get some one to listen. After hours of removing cache data and such (suggesting the problem lies with me and mine) they cant fix it and ask me to wait on the line for an "escallation code" (beware this term). After 40mins waiting phone
    goes dead....no code. This part of the process i did 3 times with same result. I would recieve an email saying that i had closed my case! Also, when talking to the pseudo techs they denied all knowledge of this as an issue. Yet take a look at problem page
    and it is their highest known issue (games unplayable due to system asking to renew game pass). After a little search find this issue has been going on for a year or more.....i guess its lucrative. There is no fix, you will get lip service then ignored and
    potentially black walled. I have given all my discs to a friend and funnily enough they all work.I have re-bought one of the games to play over christmas (at great annoyance but cheapest short term), beyond that the only solution for a company as large as
    MS with hilariously no complaints depo, is to boycott. I will smash up myy xbox, freight it to MS and go with somebody else. I feel sick that i have given up but for sanity will simply say NEVER USE MICROSOFT. The only thing that will make them take notice
    is when profits fall.

    Bit of a non -paragraphed ramble, of which there is more but you get the picture. I certainly wont be going back to them after new year. If i wasn't so merry christmas broke i would jump ship right away.

    So to all those having issues! I feel you, but in all honesty you may aswell throw your tech off a cliff and move.

    Sorry you are having problems with your Xbox.

    Try playing a game from the disc without signing in. Just to see if that works. You might need to re-install the game.

    Hi viper, thanks for attempt but the discs in question are no longer recognised, i guess by security but unsure. After uninstalling they just make a horrible noise..then nothing. The drive is fine i can still use on "unlocked games" just none that have been
    attached to gamepass. Have fixed downloadable content but not the discs lol. Crazy.

    Thats really suprising becuase my expereinces have been good with support when my account got blocked and stoppd becuase me switching wifi was supsciouse account activity so to mame sure i wasnt hacked it kicked me from my profile but i goy led to the
    right path and got it fixed
