    Gamebar parties not working!


    Context:

    I was with my friend at a party and my game crashed on steam, I am using PC and I thought nothing of it. I restarted my PC came back on and started a party - it then refused to connect me and said, 'Something was wrong try again later'. I checked for updates
    in the windows store - there is none. I tried to see if signing in and out the Xbox game bar would work - it does not. I then even tried to update windows and restart to see if that was causing the issues - it did not.

    Question:

    How do I fix this? I have done everything possible and read other forums with similar problems? I do not want to hear its a WiFi issue as I have checked my speed and my ping is 8, download is 108 MBps and the Upload is 36 consistently. So my WiFi is fine,
    it doesn't look to be the internet issue? I can try taking my ethernet out and back in any way but I'd rather know what the problem is on your end first; as far as I can tell its not a problem on my end; as all the solutions are given to me already I have
    attempted and had not really any change or progression to getting this working.

    Thank you in Advance, hope I can find out what's wrong and how to avoid this happening again.

    Edit: I am going to do a full shutdown and restart again and see if this changes anything, I am going to take out the ethernet and disable wifi and then re-enable when i log back in to try see if that will fix it atm so if i get any replies to this post

    XBOX PC looks like you're stranded

    not a clue for that issue, i only ever use the store to get gamepass games if they work that is and join parties through gamebar.

    use gamebar for party chat instead then you can pop into gamebar setting and set the default mic and output in there better.

    Is there any possible way to fix xbox gamebar?

    Same here, a possible workaround is to pin the party so when not in gamebar, it's on the screen but smaller than the full gamebar. Not found a full solution yet.

    go into windows store and check for updates their, gamebar did have an update yesterday, mine has been working fine for parties (so far - fingers crossed)
