game wont start after updating patch

hi.I have been playing star wars battlefront on xbox one since it came out about a month ago.Recently I opened the game only to find it wanted to update. once I left it and tried to restart the following day it now only starts on the title screen than minimises
itself back to the front Xbox one screen and wont start to load the menu screen for battlefront.Any ideas please?

Would I be able to use an Xbox One with NO internet connection?

I wouldnt bother updating with no internet. Most games come out broken and unfinished and need patches to actually work correctly.

You wont get these without the internet.

 

Games won't start.

Sometimes after updating a game it wont start. I don't get an error message either. sometimes the issue is resolved by reinstalling the game but i'm tired of having to download the whole games again after every few updates. Is there any way to fix this permanently
