    Game won't start 0x803f8001


    So I recently installed Forza Motorsport 6 onto my Xbox on MY XBOX LIVE GOLD ACCOUNT and every time I try to load it up it stop and comes up with the message 0x803f8001 even though the game was working perfectly fine yesterday. Also all my over games like
    battlefield and fifa start perfectly fine. I have literally tried everything to get it to work again and it won't. I hope this message gets answered.

    Minesweeper worked fine for 20 months. Since a recent update I get a 0x803F8001 code and it won't start. ??

    Every time I try to start the game I get 0x803f8001 error saying I need to insert disc or buy the game. the disc is in and the game installed with all my add-ons I bought years ago. Why Won't the game load?

    Forza 6 was free to play over the weekend.

    If you do not own the game then you can not play it now as the promotion is over.

    Forza motorsport 6 was free to play over the weekend but sadly it has ended.

    to continue playing the game you will have to purchase the game from a local store or the xbox store.

    I also tried uninstalling and it won't reinstall. The store gives the same error code: 0x803F8001

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Are you still experiencing this issue? Since others have started reporting that this issue has been resolved, please try uninstalling the game and reinstalling through the Windows Store to see if that helps!

    Tried that, it won't let me download it again. It tries to, but after starting download, then attempting to acquire license, it gives me the same error, 0x803F8001.

    The game is in the tray when You start the game, right? If it's and even so You can't play the game so try to delete your profile from your Xbox and sig into your profile again, If It does not work so try to press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and
    check If It Works.
    It didn't work unfortunately. And there seems no way the game will install from the disc. Not even offline (only from network). I don't know if that's always the case with this game.
