Game won’t play

If your game is freezing while you are trying to play it, there are quite a few things that can be done while attempting to fix it. I'll send you some procedures you can try to do, and then let us know afterwards if you've been able to get the game working. First, follow these steps:

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console itself until it shuts off.

2. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds.

3. Connect it to wall again.

4. Turn it on.

5. Try to run the game and see if the issue has been resolved.

If it doesn't work, try to reinstall the game. If this also doesn't work, check if you can move it to a different storage device. If after doing this it also doesn't work, it would be necessary to perform a factory reset while keeping games & apps installed.

Make sure that you know the login credentials to all Xbox Live profiles currently signed in on your console, because they will be removed (including any games/subscription sharing with Home Xbox switches). Follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps.

5. After you select one of the options, your Xbox console will begin the process of erasing the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.

6. Sign in to your account and set up the console.

7. Check if the game works.

It won’t even let me add a controller in the local game play either

They probably won’t fix it again and I won’t be able to play for like another week
