Game Wont Load

I have COD: Ghosts on disc. I was playing earlier today and it froze. I couldnt get it to load again so I went about my day but when I came back to it it still wont load. When I start it up it shows the first splash page of the soldier in the mask and then
goes to a black screen and stays that way. I have tried uninstalling the game and cleaning the disc. Same thing is still happening.

Im having the same problem and i tried to delete the game and reinstall it and reload it. So does that mean the file is corrupted?

I have had this happen to me a dozen times, and I finally found a fix that works for me.

1. Start the game up and select 'New Game.'

2. When it goes to start a new game, just press A to skip through the opening cinimatics.

3. The next frame will be an all white screen where your character is waking up after being shot, while on this white screen press start to bring up the menu.

4. Load the same game you are having problems with.

I have NO idea why this works, but it does. It's worked for me every single time.. I really hope it helps you because I understand all to well how frustrating this bug can be. Good luck!

 

Called support and got it fixed, had to do a hard reboot.
