    Alright so I played gta when ever I had the chance. I wanted to redo the rdr2 campaign again so I downloaded rdr2 again and I needed to clear up some space. I swear I picked 2k to remove for it but I guess I had gta and not 2k. Anyway I wanted to download gta again and now it’s not downloading. I inter the disc which isn’t scratched or dirty- and it keeps saying installation stopped. It won’t even try to install it and idk what else to do.

    Oh, yes, definitely as long as you will sign back in using the same account, your progress will stay intact.

    Let's try this trick and hopefully it will work. However, if in case it still won't read your disc and it's happening to just this particular disc game, looks like the disc needs a replacement.

    Press the Menu key of the controller.

    Go to Settings . Now choose Disc & Blu-Ray.

    In the BLU-RAY section select Persistent Storage.

    Next, select Clear persistent storage.

    Once done, Please insert your game disc half way to your console's disc drive. You will feel that the console is pulling the game disc in. Hold it for about 1 second and then release the game disc.

    I am having a similar problem with my Xbox one game sins4 cottage living expansion pack, preordered it but for some reason I can’t get it to download. I really hope they can help us.
