    Game won't download. Been through 6 reps now, 3 of which ended chat on me.


    Oh god, where do I begin. I purchased a game at 7:30 am yesterday. From till 2:45pm I was chatting with Microsoft reps. Chatted with one amd we did some troubleshooting then we got accidently disconnected, next guy I got ended chat on me while I was away
    getting the code he sent me to access my account. Third guy pawned it off on the Xbox love alert of the purchasing amd download section but that alert was specifically for Windows 10 app store, amd even said to use the console to get around it so no way was
    it why I was having this problem. Especially since I checked the Xbox live services an hour into this whole mess and at that time it was just fine. (That rep was at like 2pm). So I went to bed to get sleep for work. I got 4 hours amd I woke up to fimd the
    alert was over. Still couldn't download it. I get a new rep and he gets troubleshooting it. Basicly what I did with the first rep but this time restarting router at the same time. No luck. He was supposed to set up a call back because restarting router would
    disconnect us. He didn't. Still I can't get it to download. Tried hard line and no luck. I went to work and got out this morning to find still couldn't download it. I get a new rep and when typing the message I took too long amd he ended chat. So I copy pasted
    what I had typed for next rep. My 6th rep. He tried to help by having me get a code for him to access my account and see the game I purchased. But I told him how the guy two reps ago sent one and I still never got it, so he had me log into a link he sent me
    and told me to just go through that to get a code. I did amd ended up at a troubleshooting page with no code. He said "ok let me check other stuffs" amd I went back to the page for a sec and flipped back to chat. Then I typed how I got to the page and asked
    if I took a wrong turn. When I hit send it said chat had ended. Like really? At this point I am beyond livid. It's going on 33 hours since I bought this game and still don't have access. Further more right after I bought it amd it didn't download. I went and
    bought/downloaded the free game of the month just fine. Here is the message I just copy paste into chats now

    "Hello,im good,gunna go ahead and type this out while I wait. I came home at 7:30am yesterday to find the game I wanted to buy was no longer on sale! Game won't download. Been through 6 reps now, 3 of which ended chat on me. :( . Oh well. I went ahead and bought the $100 version of call of duty ghosts because I needed the season
    pass anyway. So I purchase it and it never starts to download. So I go to the store and find it and hit install. I get an error about it going wrong and the error is 0x80070057. I checked Xbox love services and everything was fine. So I contact a live rep.
    She goes through a few things. I tried deleting my profile amd hard shutdown IMG my Xbox. Nope didn't work. I tried factory resetting my console. Nope didn't work. Then we got disconnected. So I got a new rep. He sent me a code so he could access my account
    and while I was in my email to get ot he ended chat. Third rep told me it was because of the Xbox love said its purchase and downloading service jad an alert. Well its alert was for Windows 10 not Xbox, specifically the "what's new" section and a work around
    was to use the console. So this had no effect on why I can't download my game. Anyway I go to bed for 4 hours amd get a new rep. This rep jas me delete my profile,jard shutdown my console, and reset my router. It doesn't work either. He said he would set up
    a callback to make sure this was solved before I had to leave for work since our chat would disconnect when I reset the router. I never got called back. I still cant download this game. It is now well past 24hoirsmpast me buying this ga!e and I still can not
    use the item I purchased. The error code is *** because not one rep could find it. I am using a wireless connection but it's a very strong wireless connection. I tried hard line but it still wouldn't download. There's not much more I can tell you, ive gone
    through every version of "turn it off amd back on again" and nothing helps, the error code is wrong, the Xbox reps all point to a Xbox love service being down but it has no affect on me nor is it down now but I still can't download my game."

    Three hours on chat and my case has now been escalated to the account management team. In 3-5 days everything will be fixed and all will be happy in the forest again. I don't know if it's appropriate to say the chat reps names on forums, so I won't, but
    I wish it was possible to request the same rep every time. But, the moral of the story is, keep ALL of your accounts up to date.

    Chatting with a rep now. Ended up refunding the game and I was going to repurchase. No option showed up on the console to purchase again. Rep asked me to try from the website. Tried that and the page for the game isn't coming up....rep is consulting
    with support team. Will update as soon as more info is given.

    Yes I've tried going through the commerce site. Both phone and chat reps asked me to do that. I've done basically every possible thing any rep has asked me, it's nothing I can do on my end. I've removed my amex and re added it several times, it simply won't
    show up on my windows phone as a payment options. I tried adding it on my XBox, Windows Phone, Surface RT, Commerse website, same thing happens.



    Also, I'm unable to remove my MasterCard ending in **63 no matter what I do. Not even a chat or phone rep could remove it.

    That is what I ended up having to do. Then spend 5-10 minutes with a chat rep to find out they couldn't help but directed me to rep that would call me. Spoke with this rep for about a minute and he got it all straightened out. Works now.
