Game with wrong release date?

Hi this might be a stupid thread but I wanted to look into it as I am waiting for the new Dragon Ball game to come out and so I could play it early aka midnight.

I paid for it digitally and downloaded it and as I was waiting I noticed on the Ebgames website the game comes out in Australia of the 26th on feb while on the Xbox is comes out on the 27th that's a day later.. I was just wondering has this happen before a
game comes out before the market place or is one of those places wrong I seem to have made a mistake trying to play this game as soon as I can.

This always happens when I buy digital to try and play the game more early I tend to get stuffed over and having to wait even longer then I could have.. I should really stop buying digital games...

Wrong release time

You'd have to contact the developers for information on why, but not all games release at midnight. That's actually for early access though which could also be why it's so late in the day.

why on the store does it say the game is accessible om 18th may 2018 @ 19:00:00. Surely it should be midnight??

This is 19 hours after the actual launch

 

The game will unlock at midnight on the release day from whichever region you bought it for. So assuming a release day was for example the 27th Feb, it would unlock at midnight on the 27th in Australia, but if you bought it from the UK store it would be
later, because midnight comes earlier in Australia.

 

Yeah what I am saying is on the 26th when the clock ticks over to 12:01 on the 27th the game will unlock to be played but 9am on the 26th Ebgames will open and sell the game so the Xbox will get it 15 hours later so I would need to wait a day I know its
just a day but still kind of sucks so I need to wait when the point was to get it more early

Official Dragon Ball Xenoverse page for Australia says that it will be released on 2/27. That being the case, I highly suggest reaching out to EB Games to see if they are aware of the date and could update their page. Thanks for bringing this up to us!
