Game with Gold on XBOX ONE

Some video games webs are saying that you can download sleeping dogs and tomb raider on the xbox one with Games with Gold on this junuary, it is true or just a false rumor?

I believe I read somewhere that Games for Gold will start in June for the One. I'll see if I can find that.

 

Games with Gold on Xbox One?

Are XBox One owners able to download the Twice a month free game? Every time I try to download Shoot Many Robots it says I have no valid payment options. I'm guessing because its a 360 game? Is there special place for XBox One owners?

 

Tomb Raider hasn't been released for Xbox One yet.

 

Sleeping Dogs is on the Xbox 360 and free for Xbox LIVE Gold members from January 1, 2014 to January 15, 2014.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Xbox LIVE Arcade) is on the Xbox 360 and free for Xbox LIVE Gold members from January
15, 2014 to January 31, 2014.

 

Games for gold will come to xbox one *confirmed by ms* later in the year when more games comes out for xbox one

Seeing as xbox 360 games aren't compatible with xbox one

And there aren't enough games on ps4 or xbox one to give away 2 per month yet

 

Microsoft STOP GIVING FREE GAMES....... IF YOU WANT TO BE LIKE SONY THEN DON'T PUT REGION LOCK......

You forget games that are region locked cannot be removed the region locks are there because of a international laws on games that do prevent certain games from being distributed outside their regions specifically content laws

Even recent cases like gta 5 have it there is nothing that ms nor Sony can do about international laws

As ngocphi stated Microsoft does not control region locks. It is managed by the international countries. Typically, Microsoft will offer substitutions for countries that have locks on those games so that you can still receive your free game. Rather than
searching for the specific game, try going through your console or the website by clicking on the Games with Gold to see if it redirects you to the local game available for you.

Yep that means you don't live in a xbox live region or your account region doesn't match your actual region

You have to comply with international laws along with xbox and sony

Triple a titles which your games you listed on psn plus isn't

Gta 5 is region locked is one example of psn region locking due to international laws

 

Milan, your account's region is different than your physical one, that's why you get that message. And about the region locks, it's necessary because, some countries don't allow certain games. Such as my country, they don't allow Gta there, since it has

I can download games to PS3-4 but not to x360.......
