    My Xbox Game Pass app on my PC will download and install games just fine, but when I click play, the Xbox app closes for about 30 seconds, and then reopens like nothing happened, and the game never starts. Looking at my app history in Task Manager, the
    game I am trying to play opens for less than a second before closing.

    Hard restart console and try launching again.

    Refuse the update. Start the game after installation and it will then install and should work
