Game volume from game on PC being heard on xbox party

Hey everyone, ive been using the windows app on windows 10 to talk to my friends on xbox. When i cross play on fortnite with them they can hear my game volume loud and clear from my game and i don't know how to stop it. I need help.

Party Chat causes VOLUME DROP

I remember being annoyed at this on the 360 too, everytime we spoke in the party the volume would drop on the game sound.

Part chat, individual, volume control for each person in party.

Could there be a feature added to the party chat for Xbox one, that will innovate the volume controls in party chats? I'm suggesting a feature that allows oneself to control the volume of each individual in said party. Defeating the problem of not being
able to hear, or be heard by anybody in the party. Making parties with greater quantities less confusing, yet, still being able to hear the entire party. Would this not make a more reasonable setting than only being able to only mute individual people in party
chat?

I love that you can change the volume of party chat, game volume and spotify. That part I would lile a little extra added to is being able to adjust volume of individual party members in party chat. Some people have very quite mics or jsut speak louder
the others so would be great to tweak it when in a party.

It may be useful but you can get headphones that are able to control party chat volume separate from game volume.

Hi Austin,

You can try contacting the game developers for more information about their in-game chat issues, but as I said previously, Xbox Live party chats effectively mutes in-game chat from being heard in the party. If you are recording the gameplay from your Xbox,
the streaming program will not pick up in-game chat because in-game chat cannot be heard when in an Xbox Live party. In an Xbox Live party, you will not be able to hear other players in the game lobby unless you invite those player into the party. Other players
will also not be able to hear you in-game while you are in an Xbox Live party. This is by design and not an issue and I don't think there is a setting to change that. You can test this by trying another communication program like Discord.
