Game usage and ownership

Three months ago, I logged into my friends Xbox One. Unbeknownst to me, this accidentally set that xbox one as my home xbox. A few days ago, I received my personal Xbox One and proceeded to purchase Minecraft and Assassin's Creed Unity. Today, I set my new
Xbox as my home xbox. Consequently, my games no longer started. As a test, I uninstalled Minecraft and attempted to reinstall it. To my dismay, the marketplace states that I must repurchase the game. I have not uninstalled Assassin's Creed for fear that the
same thing will happen. I would appreciate it if I were to have my rights to download and play my games (Minecraft & AC Unity) restored, especially since I have contracted a strong cold and have no other way to enjoy my winter break. Evidence can be provided
that I own both of these products.

Controller Battery Pack

Just like all rechargeable batteries, after long usage and ownership, the battery eventually decreases battery-life span. It also depends on game-play on battery and none-usage contribute too. If you had the battery 2 or 3yrs+ I would suggest buying a
new one for your quick charge kit.

 

Game Ownership

That explains the mixed bag I've seen in relation to which games play, and which don't. Maybe we're using different interpretations of the term 'backwards compatible,' though. I guess I made the mistake of assuming that the new Xbox
would simply be able to run old games - that the console would simply have the tools to make the previous generation of games work. What you said is that the game is not backwards compatible, it feels to me like what you mean is that the
console isn't backwards compatible, and the publisher didn't want to produce a new version of the game for free.

I guess my level of trust for Microsoft just went down a couple notches. I used to genuinely like your stuff, these days I'd say that there simply aren't other options that I like better.

As it would seem, with a moderate wait that the problem has fixed itself.

 

For Minecraft, go to My Games & Apps, then Games and scroll all the way to the right and leave it there for a couple minutes. A grey pane should appear entitled "Ready to Install". Minecraft should be on it; hit A then confirm to re-download.

After changing your Home Xbox, power cycle your console and see if that makes a difference with Assassin's Creed: Unity.
