    Hi I leave my xbox turned off in stand by mode when I'm not using it (white light on power brick). I just wondered how do you know when a game has done an update? I believe it's suppose to do automatic updates in stand by mode but is there any notifications
    or anything so you know? Cheers

    Hi guys

    Probably answering myself here but if a game appears in my notifications saying launch, am i right to assume this has been updated? I noticed BF4 and COD in there just now so im assuming they have been updated.

    ah so that's why I keep getting a notification to launch fifa 14! despite already playing it thought there may have been a problem with the install

    There might be a notification in the little earth icon (upper left corner)... I know that the DR3 update did not update for me until I put the game disc in the drive.....If it is a digital download game I guess the update occurs automatically.

    Like TODI said... You will see a notification on the upper left just saying to launch the game. Wish it had an info section as to what version its at or even better what was updated.

    I keep my XBOX in standby and I have yet to have BF4 automatically download and install an update on it's own. I don't even think the last XBOX update automatically updated on it's own without me doing anything. Just more broken promises if you ask me.

    This is probably because of your internet or you dont have enough space to update.
