    Game updates not installing


    Games not installing updates! Start for a little while and download at slow speed then just stop. Comes up with an saying check internet connection, try installing later when your network might be faster. Internet is fine and haven’t had any issues. Just
    wondering if anyone else has had this problem before?

    Constantly have to install games.

    Are you sure it isn't installing updates on your games? I will simply say "installing" regardless of if it's installing the disc or an update.

    Just a thought.

    When you test your
    network connection     do you encounter any error messages? Also, are you currently using a wired or wireless connection?

    In the meantime, we'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps for the

    slow game download     issue that you are experiencing.

    I’ve tried a lot of those options I can’t connect my Xbox to a non wireless connection and I’m worried if I uninstall the game it will take even longer the next time around.

    power cycle     once more?

    How to Xbox series x the new one external hard drive doesn't take any updates even when you tell it to how do you do it

    Updates for the console itself will only install on the internal storage, and updates for games will only install where the games are stored. So if the game is installed on the internal storage, then the update for that game will install on the internal storage. You cannot pick and choose where an update is installed.

    Install the game without updating until the game completes the installation, then install the update. It should help.

    Make sure you have enough HDD space. If the game requires an update, try installing the game without the update first and install the update after the installation is complete.

    Hello!

    1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

    2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

    3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

    4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.
