Game updates not downloading while I'm not home.

I have instant on selected and the updates. When I come home from sitting in lectures all day, I just want to sit and play my games. Why does it not download these GB updates while I am not home.

Xbox Music - New songs in SD don't show in the "All music" list

OK, that sounds like an oddity with the update. I'm not 100% about that.

What if you restart the device after downloading? Does it populate correctly in that instance?

Otherwise your workaround of re-downloading seems to be working for now so is a good thing to continue doing while a better fix is found.

Is Anyone Else Dissapointed With The New Xbox One Experience?

I'm downloading a 700mb DA:I update while trying to figure out what it's for online.

Which updates? Console updates? or Game updates? if its game updates they wont update until you choose to play it. Console updates and things you buy online are the only things the xbox one auto downloads, from what i understand.

It is confirmed that you X1 can download updates and patches for games while its off (probably the low power state) so I don't see anything different with downloading a full game while its off. You would probably have to buy the game from Xbox.com to start
the download without being home.

I was expecting the same thing, I was just looking for a marketplace section on the XBL site and hoping to get the new DLC for Battlefield 4 downloading since I'm a premium member. My Xbox One is on standby mode with auto updates enabled, was hoping I could
prompt a download while I'm at work so it's ready by the time I get home. This would be a really useful feature, to sign into your account on the website via mobile or PC while away from your home and purchase & remote download games to your console. I'm surprised
this isn't already an available feature considering all the other things the Xbox One can do.

I leave mine in the low power standby mode as I wish updates to download and install while I'm at work. Now I come home and can play straight away, no waiting like I used to.

Hey guys, so to follow up: got home a while ago, still no update downloaded by the xbox

Please keep in Mond, that if you change the home console and use the xbox App or gamepass App to start a download of a game while not at home that download always will go to the home console. In that case your kid must start downloading games while he
is on his console.
