    Game Updates in My Games and Apps not populating...


    Hey folks,

    I'm really hoping someone might be able to help me out with the "Updates" section in My Games and Apps.

    Long story short, I've been using my launch XB1 console since day 1 and have had no issues. I've especially appreciated (and used) the "Updates" section that was added to "My Games and Apps", since it let me select the games I wished to update when I wanted
    to. I am not interested in having my Xbox One set to "Instant-On" and I want to be in control of the downloads being updates (so no background auto downloads for me).

    Well, I decided to pick up an S model, and since I have all my installations on an external HDD, it was just a matter of unplugging from the old and plugging it into the new. Easy!

    Well, I noticed that now that "Updates" section no longer populates with things from my external HDD.

    In addition, games I have purchased/installed on the external HDD using this new console, seem to populate that list.

    Hopefully that makes sense. Basically none of the games and apps I had installed using that old Xbox One (and are already on the external HDD) populate that "Updates" list, even if an update is needed. But all new games and apps I have installed using this
    new console (and are still installed to the external HDD) will populate that list.

    Does anyone have an ideas on what to do? Do I need to play/run a game on this new console to somehow tell it that now I wish to have updates for it display? I'm trying that, but unfortunately I wont know if that works until a new
    update is ready. Is there a DRM type situation where stuff from one console taken to another will not populate the "Updates" section? The S model is my new home Xbox, so I figured it should act just like it used to.

    Hide uninstalled apps

    Half a year later and this problem with Xbox One has still not been addressed. Demos and unwanted games and apps are still populating this 'ready to install' lust with no remedy to remove them. My number one complaint with the Xbox One at the moment.

    Re-Downloading a game

    It is not populating there... the only digital download game that did show up was Halo.

    Some games and apps may not update automatically even if you have the setting enabled. Additionally, if multiple game or app updates automatically update say overnight, you may not see them all populated in the queue.

    However, for YouTube, if you go to your My Games & Apps and launch the app from there, do you experience any trouble launching the app following the update?

    My news feed isn't updating and/or populating and my game clips aren't showing up either. I hard reset my console and reinstalled the app on my phone. Any ideas?

    Nope no problems opening it. Just wondering if the update went through. That’s explains it tho becuz I had an update before so that’s probably why it didn’t show up in recently installed

    AC3 Remastered game patches don't show up for download

    with the game downloaded onto your console, go in my games and apps, highlight AC3 click on the enter button (the one with the 3 lines) and then click manage game and add-ons and leave that to load up and populate, on the left hand side scroll through and
    see if it shows any updates or add-ons in any of those sections
