    Game update stops and starts


    Trying to do an update for a game and it keeps stopping and starting and only downloading at 500kbps when it does download. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I have tried hard reset, I have plugged Ethernet straight to modem, I have checked there
    is no console updates, checked detailed network statistics and it says 83.31Mbps download and 26.95Mbps upload only just noticed it doing it does any one have the same problem or a solution??

    Yes, I'm having the same problem too, but my problem started when I got the latest preview update and is still continuing to be even more of a problem even after rolling back to a safe update. unfortunately there is no fix that I know of, but let's hope
    Microsoft gets it's act together and fixes this problem.

    Thank you all for your help but none of the suggestions so far have worked, even factory reset. My xbox is now pretty much useless.

    I have this same exactly problem! I did a factory reset as directed, now have a console that won't completely install anything. Everything starts quickly but stops partly through. I'm glad more people are dealing with this hopefully it helps MS support
    figure it out.

    They've tried so many things, it's not on my end. It's a Microsoft problem. I'm getting warnings from my ISP because I've downloaded over 1TB of data in a week trying to install my games! :(

    I have a vey similar issue in that I also now have an XBOX that has no games (because of factory reset) and I cannot download anything on it because of this issue.
