Game trying to reinstall itself over previous install, other game lockup and system wide ...

Inserted disc to play GoW UE and it started installing the game. Game was already installed and updated two wks ago. Tried to play a diffent Game instead, Ori: atBF. It froze on the splash screen n then kick back out to the main console page. Tried rebooting
- no luck. then went to game hub n it suddenly closed and said can't do that, even thought it had already been open for at least 30 seconds and I hadn't pressed any buttons. Then othe menu items started doing the same thing. Then I tried Full shut down, waited
several minutes and tried again. GoW still messed up and menu items as well. Ori, which I had tried several times before, finally made it passed the splash page, then locked up and made a horrible beeping noise for 15-20 secs and kicked me out.

XB system help is just stupid FAQs. Error reporting just open MS Edge over the error code. On the ps4 it sends the error code plus asks if you want to describe the issue and doesn't limit the characters to way too few. I shouldn't need to use a computer
to resolve XBox issues. After losing everything in a housefire last year, I had a choice between buying a comp or a console and XBOX was obviously the wrong choice. It's been nothing but trouble. Plus it's poorly designed. This is just sad.

Did you just reinstall Windows over itself or was it a clean install? The solution in both cases should be to simply reinstall both the GFWL client and the game. If you need more specific help then try heading over to the PC side of the forum

un install and reinstall the game if it is a disc do this

settings-system-hard drive-hover over HDD- hit Y- clear system cash

I am sorry that you having these issues with the game, have you tried uninstalling the full game and installing the game back or even try to call xbox customer support?

 

my black ops 3 is not working at all it was working fine then one day day it stop working it been down about 2 months now and still be haven problems with it
