Game tray thing broken?

So you had a game disc inside ur Xbox 360 Tray, and the Game disc Shattered inside the console? and the pieces of the broken disc are now blocking the Tray from opening???

How u managed to get the disc brake inside the console?

As a only thing i would do is to unplug ur console and try to shake it so that the shatters would move to a better place so you could get the tray open...

A few things here

-Your Xbox tray could be dirty, DO NOT take apart the Xbox unless you do NOT want the warranty.

-Your disc(s) could be scratched beyond repair

-Your disc tray could be jammed

-Your disc tray could be broken

Now when I say broken, I mean the laser may be broken (I.E: You will need a new laser)

This happens usually with the old Xbox 360s (Not Slim) and likely happens after 2-3 years of common usage. If I were you, I would try to lightly clean the laser of all dirt and dust on it, if that doesn't work, you MAY need a new Xbox 360.

it looks like you have a disk tray error.

only solution is to get it repaired the switch inside the drive is broken ore dirty so it doesn't know if the tray is open ore closed.

I only had one PS2 that I got at launch. The disc tray door was broken and there's no way of knowing how many times I took that thing apart, but it kept on going. I still have that and my original Xbox and both still work.

I would if you still want to: buy a new x-box like there 299 one and see if that works for a long itme if not then it is up to you.
