Discus and support Game Transfer in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; It would be nice to be able to transfer over Xbox 360 games to Xbox one all the games you in particular games you have bought on Xbox also the add-ons...     It would be nice to be able to transfer over Xbox 360 games to Xbox one all the games you in particular games you have bought on Xbox also the add-ons purchased on the game. For example I know when I first purchased Destiny I played on Xbox 360 then the
    new one released and I had an Xbox one so I had to re-buy Destiny to be able to play it on Xbox one. I should've been able to play it on Xbox one or received a code to redeem my game again. It'd save people money and time

    Transferring disc exported songs to a new 360?

    Transferring isn't an issue as the transfer cable will transfer everything over with the exception of game installs.

    However you will want to use the license transfer tool on the Microsoft site otherwise you would have to be online all the time to use the purchased content.

    Edit: If you are selling the original hard drive with the console and are then unable to do the transfer then you will have to stick your gamertag, save games and the RB1 export files on a memory device before selling and then do the licence transfer on new console and download everything else..

    When the One was first released, there were offers to upgrade certain games for free for a limited time. The offers were up to the developers though.

    Problem with transfer

    The license transfer only transfers game licenses between console. There is now way to transfer games between accounts.

    The license transfer only transfers content lisenses. It does not transfer game saves. You would have to use a data transfer cable as suggested or a usb drive to transfer the saves.

    Broken hard drive! I have a few questions about transferring data.

    If you know for certain it is corrupted, avoid doing a transfer. You could transfer content but the odds are good that the content will be corrupted in the new HD. Transfer cable transfers game saves, profiles, achievements, game licenses etc.
