    Game Totally Disappeared From My Library


    Today, I tried playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but, upon opening it, I received an unusual error message. The message claimed that I did not own the game; however, I bought the Game of the Year Edition digitally on my Xbox account. It was working
    just fine for a week or so, so I thought this was very strange. I decided to uninstall and reinstall the game—a common solution to these problems. However, once I uninstalled it, the game was nowhere to be found in my games library. I checked my transaction
    history, and the game was still there, but in an app format for some reason. At this point, I have tried everything recommended to me—signing out, hard reset, factory reset, calling Xbox Support, etc.—but to no avail. Is there any other way, besides getting
    a refund or buying the game on the marketplace again, to solve this problem?

    I also want to add the following, as I think it might be relevant in some way: the game, Morrowind, is a backwards compatible title. I'm not too sure if that might be related to the underlying problem here, but it is worth mentioning.

    Make sure that you do not have your games filtered there is a button on the top of the games and app that looks like a funnel that you can filter the games by different things.
