Game took too long to start

Got an Xbox one today, installed gears of war 1 from the code I got given with my gears of war 4 and it doesn't start. just comes up with "game took too long to start". looked online and it looks like a common issue people are having. Anyone know of a fix?

Hi ! Does the problem come up with all the games that you try to start while you're upgrading? Try deleting the system cache with the power cycle and try again. Hold down the power button for 10 secs, wait for the console to turn off, wait for 30
secs, and then turn it on again.

yeah it happens with any game I try to launch. I've had the problem ever since I got the console though and I've tried resetting it like that in the past but it still happens

Games took too long to start

Hello anyone who can help,

Recently out of no where my xbox has been becoming slow in everything it does. When I click on a game to play, the game starts to load but after a few seconds of nothing happening I am returned to the home screen of my xbox with the message "for some reason
*insert game* took too long to start." The error code that comes up is 0x8027025a. I spent a long time talking to Xbox support in a chat, but nothing fixed the issue. I have restarted the console multiple times, reset the to factory settings. Tried other accounts,
nothing is working. Does anyone know how I can actually speak to someone on the phone? My Xbox is not even a year old but I cannot find anything on the warranty page to see if this issue is covered. I appreciate any help!

Try clearing the cache of your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

To check, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console? Is this happening with any games you try, disc, or digital?
