Game took too long to open

I've been having this problem for a few months and have resorted to abandoning video games. (The only other thing that got me to do this was the terrible experience I had with the Art Institute of Seattle's staff screwing me out of my Game Dev Degree and
leaving me with my debt.)

So far I've tried the following:

quit and re-launch

hard reset (button hold AND I've unplugged it and plugged it back in.)

uninstall and re-install

wipe temporary data

clean disk

utilize another EA game to reset something or other, which was a fix I read about on another forum.

Currently I have BF4 installed and fully updated. I have all the map packs. I have an active EA Access subscription and an active gold membership to XBL. Other games work just fine. Same disk will play on my brother's xbox and using my account on his xbox.
The only thing I can think to do now is a factory reset, which I would like to avoid so I don't have to back my stuff up to "the cloud" I hate "the cloud." If this was my 360, I'd just back it up to my PC with a high capacity flash drive, but that doesn't
work on the One to the best of my knowledge.

Hi Grunt989! Does the problem come up with all the games that you try to start while you're upgrading? Try deleting the system cache with the power cycle and try again. Hold down the power button for 10 secs, wait for the console to turn off, wait for 30
secs, and then turn it on again.

Hello, have you tried restarting the xbox. I found this usually solves a majority game starting issues. If you are unsure how to go to this link for step by step directions, vladimir checa on Twitter
