Game that made the biggest impact on you

Too many to list them all but the games that I remember fondly are Kid Icarus and Metroid on NES and Alien vs Predator on the Atari Jaguar.

Yeah. Bioware promised that the decisions you made would have some impact down the line, but they never actually stated how big an impact. A lot of people just assumed this mean't galaxy-spanning, Earth-shattering consequences, when the truth was that it
means some characters could do, some events would be altered a little etc. The concept of choice throughout the games is largely an illusion, which is understandable. Taken in context, which is to say compared to other games, the effects you can have from
game to game are actually pretty damn impressive.

same here bro, it's what made Netflix somewhat of an impact on the xbox.

 

Halo 3 was my first Xbox 360 Game, Was great going for the ViDMaster Challenges back then

 

Definately too many to name.

I loved playing 'Excitebike' on the NES as a kid. Also, loved playing 'Bubble Bobble'.

A lot of found memories of family and friends with those two games.

 

Excitebike and R.C. PRO-AM memories have definitely stuck with more for all these years.

It seems like I’ve played millions of games lol, but there are probably less than 100 that I vividly remember. Half of those game are from the Atari 2600. It’s not because they were the best, but because gaming was new to me then, and I was instantly addicted.

Believe it or not, I bought Xbox One just because of this game......

 

Hehehe... If you say the game that made "the biggest impact" on me, I would say Artworx's Strip Poker II!!!

 

OMG I remember the PQ series!! One of my absolute favorites, I was a massive fan of anything that Sierra had put out and the love that was behind the PQ series was very apparent. Really wish they would bring out a new one the way they did with King's Quest!

 

I heard that Leisure Suit Larry has a brand new title in the franchise coming soon!

 

The last decent game in that franchise was 5, Sierra ran it into the ground with 6 and 7.. then there was that awful Xbox 360 title... I loved the game back on the PC but they should just leave that series alone... I'll take Roger
Wilco any day.

 

For console gaming my biggest early gaming hooks were Kid Icarus, Metal Gear, Dragon Warrior, Castlevania II, and Metroid for the NES. I think those 5 games alone laid the foundation for all of the time, effort, and grinding I'd put into gaming up until
this point in my life. There have been many titles over the years since (FFII + FFIII for the SNES, Mario 64 for the N64, Mortal Kombat for Genesis, Lunar for Sega CD) that continued to bring me back into dumping countless hours reading dialog and grinding
levels. Then once I moved away from gaming for a bit, the 360 drug me back with things like GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock, Halo 3 & Reach and so much more. I almost have to slice my life up into decades or console eras to even pick out what kept
me going through the last 30+ years of this money pit of a hobby.

 

Gosh...... That seems to be another posthumous execution of the series without the mastermind of the series Al Lowe...........
