    I’m trying to find a game suitable for myself and playing online with my nephews (14 and 11) but I’m a bit of a Luddite and rather than trudging through all the games individually I thought I’d ask the community for suggestions. Here are some feature I’m
    looking for in the game:

    Single player capability with a good storyline and character development. (a la Assasin’s Creed)

    Online co-op capability vs NPC as well as vs PC (This would be similar to Fortnite. I can play in an open world of just me and my nephew or we can play in an open world w/ and/or against random/unknown PC from the game’s lobby.)

    Something like Red Dead Online, but from what I can tell that doesn’t have a “closed gameplay” where it would be me and my nephews and and only NPC. My understanding is that you are still playing against PC from the game’s lobby.

    I am not interested in any army or military games, PC groups or PC characters, in any reality timeline, past present or future. More so something along the line of Pirates or Vikings or Ronin or other such groups.
    Sorry, even though this is sexist to say, I’m not interested in controlling a female PC or having the lead character be female.

    So what suggestions do y’all have?

    Minecraft is a 2 player split screen game (also up to 4-play split)

    -

    Borderlands 2 is also split, think racking games, fighting games, you could play a game that doesn't require a split screen to be a local game like FIFA, WWE, NHL, NBA etc

    WWE 13 is an awesome game. The LEGO games would be perfect as well. THere are several fighting games that might be good to check out as well. Games like the Dragon Ball Z fighting games. Haven't played them, but I have heard good things.

    Ok cheers for info guys, never heard of 'from dust' , but sounds like its a great one(just did a quick youtube scout - populus the beginning springs to mind 'Kahh!'... will have a gander at that for sure. Gotham city, i've got arkham city ready to play here,
    just trying to do assassins creed first :)

    I dont think I've got the latest trials dlc, so might be a definite purchase :) nexuiz looks alright on the video, might give that a bash.

    Splosion man has always tempted me, never had the balls to buy it though, Pinball's alright, occasionally, but I did try the demo, but got bored pretty quickly, and l'll never buy magic the gathering because I dont like that type of game at all, sorry az
