game stuck on xbox live login

Hi Criosphinx, thank you for the reply. In the end I formated the drive. I'd previously used the X to suggest deletions but this hadn't worked.

Sorry you have not had a response to your question until now.

I understand you've performed Network troubleshooting and the clearing of your sytem cache.

Here is another method you could try and let me know witha follow-up if it resolved your issue, if it isn't already resolved by now through other means.

Step 1. Go to Settings

Step 2. Go into the System settings.

Step 3. Storage > Hard Drive

Step 4. Go through any of the list to find any yellow error icon by the left of the file indicating corrupt files, or incomplete downloads. I think there may be an option to get Delete Suggestions by pressing X. Once you have gone through them all and deleted
any corrupt or incomplete files (if any) Please go back to the Storage, and again press Y to get the option for clearing your system cache.

Step 5. Reboot your console.

If this did not fix the issue I will suggest another.

Step 1. Go into Settings > System > Storage > Highlight Hard Drive and press the buttons on your controller in this order "Left bumper, Right Bumper, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X2 (THIS WILL ROLL BACK THE SYSTEM UPDATE) Note: This will NOT remove any
of your Games, Avatar Items, Gamerpicturs, or any DLC.

If the problem still occurs, please message back to me on this thread and I will suggest some other ideas to fix your issue. Please keep us updated!

I have been playing successfully with my XBOX Live account linked to Fortnite. Today however, I was no longer able to login. I am stuck on the Epic Login screen after I typed in my Epic credentials. No controller keys work while I'm on that screen. I have to click the XBOX button and get to the main console screen.

I tried to delete the local saved game data and restart the console. but this did not help - the same login screen continues to show and it won't allow any button to work.

Please help.
