    Game stuck in recently installed


    Goat simulator shows it’s installed but is only listed in “recently installed” so we can’t play it

    Game stuck in recently installed

    AFTER downloading forza 6 and horizon 3 at some point during their download (possibly after , wasn't watching) there both moved to recently installed. However neither are in my games list . Can't select either. Only give 2 menu options ; view in marketplace
    , xbox help. I tried rebooting, I can't uninstall as it doesn't give me menu options. Please help !

    Nope no problems opening it. Just wondering if the update went through. That’s explains it tho becuz I had an update before so that’s probably why it didn’t show up in recently installed

    All friends appearing as offline?

    I and all of my friends are having this exact problem. I just recently had to restore factory defaults to get my xbox one fixed after it's been stuck on a black screen for 3 days and now I have to install all my games again, plus my installs stop at 98%
    and friends are down

    If these games are on disc then I suggest HDTV cleaner spritzed onto a microfiber cloth and gently clean the disc and try installing again. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL on blu rays as it can cloud the disc enough so the laser will not reflect back and render the disc
    useless.

    If no joy and/or games were a digital purchase call support.

    I tried installing to the xbox and it still wouldn't work. After leaving the xbox shutdown and unplugged for a few hours Batman had finally disappeared so I was able to install that again and this time it worked. Forza still won't work, I tried deleting
    all the accounts off the xbox and then power cycling and installing with no accounts and still no luck. I guess I'm going to have to contact support, thanks for the help though.

    Thanks for the suggestions, I did try and clean the Forza disc but it didn't help (wasn't really dirty to begin with) and Batman was a brand new disc.

    I completely shutdown the xbox and unplugged the power cable and left it for bout 5 hours, when I started it up again Batman was no longer showing and it installed fine after that. Forza however still wouldn't work, so I deleted all the accounts on the xbox
    and power cycled and still no luck.

    I could try installing to the internal hard drive, will just have to transfer another game first. Other games I've tried are installing the to external without any problems but I'll give it a try.
