    Game Streaming (xCloud) account not signing in to the xCloud tab


    I registered some time ago and my MSA is not my most actively checked email account. Apparently a few months ago I received an email to try xCloud, joining the preview program.

    I had already been using Console Streaming and would from time to time go check out xCloud, but it always just showed me the informational pages. When I discovered the email, all the links in the email were expired. The xCloud menu still just showed the informational page when I checked it. I even logged out and then logged back in, but the status is the same.

    Before I go through the steps of leaving the program, re-registering, and waiting for another email I'll likely miss, I'm just trying to confirm that I may have missed some window to confirm my account or something. Maybe my account is reproducing a bug, or maybe I'm just failing to start xCloud correctly. I had been on xCloud during early Internal Alpha testing, so maybe it's a problem with my account.

    No, the Streaming app for xCloud allows for online play of those xCloud games or will allow you to stream your Xbox games to your phone.

    But you don't use any code in your phone to run Xcloud games, it's like streaming a video, as Xcloud runs trough the browser

    I understand streaming games (Xcloud) is not yet available for the console, only selected insiders to have access at the moment.

    If you share the account with your friend, this could be the problem, as only the person who is the subscriber will be able to use xcloud as it is a benefit only for them.

    Xbox Play Anywhere game doesn't support cloud saves - but that's an integral feature!

    Cloud enabled refers to Xcloud game streaming, not cloud saves.
