Game Streaming - "To continue, sign in on your console using this account"

I cannot get game streaming to work. Every time I try to stream from the Xbox App in Windows 10, I get the message "To continue, sign in on your console using this account". I have signed in with the same account on both Windows 10 and the Xbox One.

I have tried:

two different XBL accounts

two different Windows 10 PCs

checking all the settings you need to have enabled on the XB1 to allow streaming listed

here

restarting the XB1 & PCs multiple times

closing & reopening the Xbox app on the PCs multiple times

rebooting all my network gear

The XB1 and PCs are on the same wired network (plugged into separate switches, the switches are connected).

When I test streaming, I get audio, but no video - just a spinning wheel instead of video. When the test completes, I get green ticks for the four quality levels.

Not sure if it is relevant, but I constantly have issues with the app and XB1 not showing achievements I have earned. I have no issues with popping the achievements, but on XB1 it always says "We can't show your achievements right now" when looking at the
list for the game I am currently playing, and on Xbox app it always says "Something went wrong with loading this info. Try again later. There's a problem with your internet connection". Also if I go into "My home Xbox" in the settings on the XB1 I get a spinning
wheel forever.

Anyone have any info about what I can try to get this working? I'm tearing my hair out over here.

Anyone else getting this garbage? Was working perfectly fine this morning now its giving me this garbage every time I try to stream it.

STREAMING ERROR: TO CONTINUE, SIGN IN ON YOUR CONSOLE USING THIS ACCOUNT

Yeah when you add a passcode it requires you sign in with a controller because without it anyone using you network could access your xbox and account rendering the password useless.

Could you try connecting your Laptop wired too?

Or leave your console wireless and try gain.

Also, please try this on your console:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console and disable and enable again remote features

in case you haven't tried it yet,

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

You might also try rebooting all Network devices when console is powered off.

Let's try this on your PC

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

We can try too open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command:

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" (without the "")

Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

Yeah this hasn't worked for me either.

I also tried to do the steps on this thread too.
