Game streaming suddenly stops at random interval.

Hello,

All help is appreciated. The main problem I have here now, since the last update is that game streaming (which used to rock all the way) all of a sudden has issues. The problem is that while playing games via streaming I can play for a random amount of time
until the xbox app comes up with a message that the connection to the console has been interrupted. It then suggest to test the streaming. When I do that everything is checked green. Playing for more than five minutes does not go.

Reading a bit on the net I found an article that states to shut the xbox down by pushing the on/off button long, after I did that I can gamestream much longer (about half an hour) then it suddenly disconnects again resulting in the problems descibed above.
I have done this multiple times, so I can repeat this sequence to play at least half an hour. OH THE JOY!

The setup I have is:

Xbox one connected through ethernet cable.

Laptop connected to WIFI.

Game stream tried at different quality levels.

It worked before your update. Now it does not anymore.

I checked if I had the correct version of the xbox app. But when I go to the support website it states a different version. Much lower in number than is in the app. Tried it on a different laptop. with the same result, So my best guess is that is has to
do with the Xbox itself.

Streaming media over the network works well.

As I stated any help is welcome.

Cod wwii multiplayer shutdown

When playing multiplayer the console suddenly shuts down for no apparent reason. It does this at random intervals, 10 minutes of play, 30 minutes, etc. I’ve cleaned console and power brick, tried hard reset and adjusted power settings to no effect. Other
games and apps work fine. Help?

 

Game streaming constantly crashes.

Even with wired connection from xbox one x to pc, the game streaming function always crashes. This happens no matter the game/computer/streaming quality/wired/wireless. The video will freeze but the audio and controls will work. The bottom says network issues,
then the stream crashes. It happens at random intervals. When it is steaming, it runs flawlessly even on very high, but the disconnects make games unplayable.

 

Same here pal, exactly the same! Are you using a slim? I am and this problem has been prevalent since I got my slim on 8/23 although I haven't streamed in some time before this... Every single update they put out completely ruins SEVERAL other features of
this console! So pathetic from a software company, they can't get the os to work at all, EVER! Complete garbage in my eyes. I've never ever ever had not even one single issue with my PS4! I'm to the point now that I'm returning my slim console and gonna just
use my original when I do end up playing gears 4! MS you need to fix your *** soon as my console is full of touted features that don't EVER work!!!!

 

After stroling on the web some more I found the solution to my problem. It is stupid that I had to do it this way, but it worked wonders. I did the following steps:

1. turn off the xbox through the power button

2. unplug the power cord connected to your xbox. Leave the power blok in the wall socket though.

3. wait for at least 2 minutes.

4. connect the xbox back to the power.

5. turn xbox back on and the streaming will work again.

No idea why this worked, but I have been playing games through streaming all day today.

Just powring down by longpressing the on/off button does not work however.

 

After strolling the web for some more hours I found a solution to the game streaming problem myself.

I did the following:

1. turn off the xbox with the power button.

2. disconnect the xbox from its power supply, but leave the power supply in the wall socket.

3. wait for at least 2 minutes.

4. connect the xbox to its power supply.

5. turn on xbox.

I have been streaming games all day today. No clue why longpressing the powerbutton did nothing though.
