    Game stopped installing at 82%


    I just bought the Xbox One Assassin's creed Unity bundle, so I am new to the Xbox one (but I have the 360 and Xbox live).

    At around 4 pm yesterday I started the download for Black Flag. 3 hours later is said ready to start, but after clicking it, it said waiting to install. At midnight, it said 82 % installed. I let it run over night, and the bandwidth usage said it was
    downloading until about 4 am - but then stopped. It is now 9:48 am the next day, and it still says 82 % installed. And now the bandwidth is showing almost nothing coming thru.

    I am used to downloading and installing games on the 360, and they usually take a few hours, but this is kinda long. Is there some settings (or something) that I need to change to make this work? Or is this normal to take this long on the new console?
    I kinda feel like I should refrain from purchasing online if this is normal.

    I would welcome any feed back. Thank you in advance.

    Sorry to hear about the update issue! What type of internet connection is the Xbox One console connected to?

    If you could post back with the following, that will help us a lot!

    1. Router & Modem brand and model numbers.
    2. Internet Service Provider.

    Xbox one update stopped at 82%

    Okay so I've noticed a few folk having the same problem but I just can't seem to fix my problem... My update keeps freezing at 82% and won't go any further nor will it do anything infact. I know the update is coming to me a little bit late but due to work
    I've got no time to play :/ anyhoo, I've tried on three separate days to complete the download but still it freezes! Getting real tired of it tbh, had not one bit of bother with my Xbox and now I'm landed with this mess up of an update which won't let me do
    anything...

    Thanks to to anyone with helpful and working ideas.

    Installation taking too oi long

    Try to purchase a disc copy. Delete the 82% you've downloaded. Restart the console.

    Start new installation SIGN OUT of Xbox Live while installing,It will install faster.

    I'm a DAD but love gaming and been gaming since 82 when I was 7, that's when the spectrum came out and never stopped.

    my GF cant stand it, I've often tried to get her to play but don't ever show any interest with it.
