Game start up issue since March update.

I have been told to create a new thread regarding this issue as I posted a reply to someone else with the same problem. I installed both dying light and the Sherlock Holmes games and although both were showing up on my hard drive neither would launch, a
tad annoying as dying light needs an 18gb update and this has happened since the March update.I have tried all the usual do this and do that's and a full reinstall was the eventual cure but it's not an ideal solution if this becomes a regular occurrence.

Ever since the March update on my xbox one, it is showing the games that I have, but they won't start up. The system recognizes the game disc, but nothing loads. I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Did the reinstall fix both your games, or are you still having problems with Dying Light? Having to reinstall a game isn't the norm by any means, and you shouldn't ever have to (most people don't). That said, if an update downloads bad or something else
happens during install it could corrupt the installation forcing the reinstall you described.

 

Both games are now running fine, I'll keep you posted if anything else goes AWOL.
