Game SoundTracks-Would you buy them?

@Hail..I did get the Skyrim and Mass Effect 'trial"add on's for Minecraft but haven't tried them yet but i like the concept...in fact i haven't played Minecraft since they announced the last huge update(which i still have to download as well) I want to like
the game but i still only try to survive the night once in a blue moon in my beginner wooden house lol..sorry to off topic there a bit but the jest of it was about the Skyrim/Mass Effect music..at least that's what i'm telling everyone

 

Back when they allowed actual songs in games. I bought a few from the game. Such as Superstar from Tiger 04 I think

 

I never have but if it sounded like Pestilence, Burnt by the Sun or Earth Crisis I would.

I liked being able to make my own music for games on the original Xbox.

 

I got the Bioshock 2 soundtrack with the game and I like some of those old songs.

Also my brother gave me MP3 files of all the radio stations of GTA III way back when.

 

If I like the music enough. I own quite a few. All of the Halo osts (though 4 was lacking in creativity), Every main Assassin's Creed game, Uncharted 3, tons of Zelda, every TES ost that Jeremy Soule made and some God of War music just to name a few. The
surprising part is that a lot of it is cinema quality. They always impress me.

[/quote]There have been a few songs in games that I have liked over the years. The original Battlefield theme comes to mind. But not the entire soundtrack. The opening title song for Borderlands 1 (sung by caged the elephant) I ended up purchasing, along
with a couple others, but for the most part, not going to buy the whole thing.

I've never bought a game soundtrack and I don't plan on starting.

 

I bought the soundtracks from: Kingdom Hearts, Suikoden and FF7. I own a lot more but got them mostly from limited editions.

 

I've bought individual songs from the Final Fantasy 13 soundtrack, but never poised to buy it entirely. Same with Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2. If I can find the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack, I'd add it to my collection. I
am a fan, after all.

 

I've bought the soundtrack for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and it's not bad. I don't know if I'd buy soundtracks for most games. I think I'd be more likely to buy the sound track if it had (for lack of a better word) "actual" songs; as opposed to simply
instrumental music.

 

It would all depend on the game and how good the music was. I purchased a few songs from iTunes that where featured in Forza 2 so I guess I kind of already have.

 

Unless either Oasis, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines, The Jam, The Strokes, The Killers or The Cult were featured all on the same soundtrack then yes, otherwise no!

 

yes, several. I used to love the Final Fantasy sound tracks. nobuo uematsu is a musical genius.
