Game sizes displayed on Xbox Store

Discus and support Game sizes displayed on Xbox Store in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Do the file sizes on the Xbox marketplace display the Xbox One X enhanced sizes?     Game sizes displayed on Xbox Store


    Do the file sizes on the Xbox marketplace display the Xbox One X enhanced sizes? They're all so much bigger than what I have installed on a base Xbox One. If so, is there any way to change this so I can get an accurate read of what I need to install?

    The game install sizes are also listed on the Xbox One game store, on the console and here on Xbox.com. The download sizes are exactly the same as the disc install sizes.

    As to the install size to actual game size ratio, that one is easy to explain. The size of a game install isn't necessarily bigger because the game is 'bigger'. The size really depends on the game assets, things such as textures, high definition audio and
    HD video sequences. This explains why AC4 is 7.63GB on Xbox 360, and 20.81GB on Xbox One.

    Apex Ledgends varies with different updates the file size may change. As long as the game play ok you fine. In a few weeks you will have another upgrade for the new season with bigger file size. Do not worry as long as the game runs you ok.

    XBox One S may have less file size

    XBox One X may have bigger size for 4K files.

    The game size is correct...the Steam page (assuming it's the same game) lists:

    "Storage: 300 MB available space"

    This is the game on the Xbox page, which states only 199mb needed:

    Death In The Water 2 just released and is a significant size upgrade on it's predecessor with a 7GB install size
