Game sharing on PC

Loving the fact that I can share game clips on, BUT...

I was planning to run through Star Wars Dark Forces on my PC and share it to get the game out there, because it is an amazing star wars game and only around because Doom was a major change in gaming. I know not many of my friends will actually see it, but
i can't even share because it says the game is unrecognised (don't know if that's due to DOSbox or not) but it's kind of annoying to say the least. but to make an already long story short, I was hoping the devs could allow all games to be shared. It's not
a widely used feature on PC because it cannot be showed off enough, but allowing anything to be shared would be a change in the right direction for the app and xbox's PC gamers. Of course setting up a guideline will allow people to get banned for content not
related to games, involve sexual behaviour, etc...

Sharing games on same PC

If I buy a game on Windows 10 on my Xbox account can someone else who has an account on the same PC get access to that game while logged into their Xbox account?

Hello

I have recently bought Forza Horizon 3 for Windows 10. After I learned that it is not possible to create multiple profiles inside the game, which is a bit strange as it is a standard in many other games, I started looking for a solution in the internet.

Someone suggested that I need to create an xbox login for my son. So I did- logged in to my PC with the sons account, started the xbox app and was not able to start FH3. I saw some of the game I have installed on my PC but no xbox games.

Any suggestions ?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is not a Play Anywhere Game also you cannot game share on PC.

To play the game on the PC it would need to be purchased from the Blizzard Store / Client.

You can't share on pc like how you can on consoles

.there is a difference

On console anyone can use the gameshare to download the game but on pc they can't.

You have.to be signed into the xbox account wjth the profile that owns gamepass or the game and download it then switch back to your profile for achievements etc

Only downloadable content that you buy for an Xbox Play Anywhere
game that you own will also be playable on both
Xbox One and Windows 10
PC. If the game is not part of Xbox Play Anywhere you can't share it on PC.

There is no home function like on PC consoles but you can log into the account that has a subscription to the Microsoft Store app, download games, and log into the account you want to use to play games on the Xbox app.

Game share is a console feature (due to it's "Home" designation), not a PC feature. I believe you can (not 100% sure though) share between accounts on the same PC but not on different PCs.
