Game sharing/New console

Hi I recently upgraded to the Xbox One S. On my old console I had game share set up with my brother but after setting up my new console I realized I no longer had any of his games (he still has mine) My question is, if I redo the process and get his games
back to my console, will I still have my saved data and progress? Like for example, will I have to restart my skyrim character from scratch because the data never transferred?

Xbox live sharing

ive heard from friends that if I have Xbox live gold subscription on my xbox, if I make a new profile it will just autmoatically share to that one but when I finally made a new one, my gold isn't sharing to it. why not? does it make a difference if I'm game
sharing with a friend and his console is my home console?

Content sharing problems

On my families old Xbox 360, my brother and I could play games that either of us downloaded without the other being signed in. When we got our new one, we transfered data from our old one to the new one, but the content sharing feature no longer works on
the new console. Is there any way to reactivate the sharing feature?

You can always access your content as long as you are signed into live without doing a new home console

But then you are stuck with the always connected

You just have to install from ready to install vs automatic install from home console

If they were game shared from another account, the other account with have to game share to your new console.

As long as you use your own account from the old console on the new console, you will have access to your own games.

However, the games your friend shares with your console has to come over, sign in with his own account on your new console, and set it as his new Home Console, so his games are now shared on your new console instead of your old.

I'm curious to know if the Home Console features and game sharing will work between the XB1X and the current XB1 consoles. My wife and I game share, but can't afford to replace both consoles at once so I'm hoping we can still game share with one of us on
the new console and one of us on the older one.
