Game Sharing issue between 2 XboxOne's in the same household

Hey guys,

I've looked everywhere and I cannot find the answer.

I have 2 Xbox Ones in my home(My Xbox(Xbox A) and my sons Xbox(Xbox B). I am able to download and play games from Xbox A on Xbox B, but not the other way around.

- Both consoles have their own current Xbox Live subscription

- Both consoles are currently up to date(Updates)

- Both consoles are connection to same WiFi network

- The Live account from Xbox A has Xbox B as its Home Xbox and vice-versa

- Xbox B can view, download and play all the games from Xbox A but not the other way around

- Xbox A is currently enrolled and registered in the Preview Program while Xbox B is not(I sent an invite to Xbox B but it has yet to download)

Anyone know what is causing the issue? The only difference between the consoles is the Preview Program enrollment.

Game pass sharing in same household

You would have to set her console as your Home console. She would be able to access any games you download through game pass, but game pass itself is not shareable.

Keep in mind that if you set her console as your Home, your son will no longer be able to share your gold/games on your console.

Hi my other half has just bought a xbox with her own xbox live. I currently have the game pass. Me and my son currently share gold. I just want to know if my other half can use the game pass on her xbox aswell. We are all in the same house and all on the
same network.

Which profile are you using to download games in Xbox B

 

My suspicion would be the fact that Xbox A is enrolled in the preview program. I had a number of issues (mostly to do with purchasing content) doing this exact thing between my brother and I (problems seemed to go away after he had enrolled.)

Fix #1 - Try to enrol console B in the Preview Program. This may take a few days but to avoid future problems you should definitely enrol.

Fix #2 - Try uninstalling the smallest game title (ex. an arcade title) and reinstalling it while signed into the profile it was purchased with on the opposite console. (try to boot it up at least once before testing with your sons profile.)

LAST RESORT - Fix #3 - Factory reset & reassign home consoles. (to save a whole lot of time downloading, transfer your games to a hard drive before factory resetting)
