Game sharing and licensing issues with new purchase.

Hey guys I game share with my buddy and i just purchased 2 new games but he is unable to download them. I contacted Xbox support and they saw that the licenses are not attached to my account. Could you please help to resolve this.

End of Life Forza Games

I believe Forza 1 has been removed from the store due to licensing issues with the music, and the only option to purchase now would be a physical copy of the game.

Avatar Marketplace shutting down

Yeah licensing deals go away often, and when that happens the item is no longer available for purchase. The same goes for some games that are taken down, I know a few have been taken down because of licensing and other issues.

When you purchase content it is tied to the gamertag that purchased it as well as the console it was purchased on. Your brother can access the game because it was his account that purchased it.

If you share a console, you would need to do a license transfer from his account in order to move the console license to the new console and allow you to share the game.

The best thing to do would be for him to purchase the content on his account.

so he has access to the content, but you will have to be signed in at all times on your console in order to use the content. However, the license transfer tool is really only meant to be used if you purchase a new console and need to move your licenses to
that new console. It's not necessarily meant to be used to share content like that.
