Game sharing after buying a new Xbox S console

So my old console the Xbox s has to be the home Xbox so we can game share and it won’t kick him from the game sessions he is play,

We had two xbox s and we were able to play the same game at the same time on each console. With game sharing and one Xbox was home and the other was not.

Now I have have to buy the game again for my Xbox s because the Xbox x is my home Xbox and I can’t share the game to other consoles?

Or do I just not set a home console ? So we can play the same game at the same time ??

Hello all, I have one Xbox One console that my son has just moved into his bedroom (this was Home console with my account as well).

I'm looking at buying my daughter an Xbox One S 1tb for the living room so we will have 2 seperate consoles.

Will I need to buy another Xbox Live subscription for the new console or is there any way to share the one subscription over 2 consoles?.

Also I have my Xbox username/ tag on my son's console with him as a child account. Can I register the new Xbox with my details as well and have daugher on child account or do I have to start from scratch?.

Any help or pointers appreciated!.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Forums I understand you want to know if you need buy other Gold subscription, and the answer is yes, you can not game share with someone who already game sharing. so you
have to buy Gold subscription.

You'll want to leave the One S set as your Home console in order to share everything with your son.

Thank you, but, can I transfer all on my new XboxOne X so it will be my home console and i trasfer on it all, i mean games and both profiles of me and my son. After that reset to factory default my xboxone s console and set it to NOT my home console but
configure on it both profiles. If i do so, can my son play the same games and condivide my gold subscription?

Did you found solution for this? I'm also going to buy Xbox X and give my One S to my son. Do I need to buy games once again to have it on both console? Can we use both Xbox'es in the same time and play the same games?

Yes! With the new xbox series X Xbox will be realesing all there games with these consols included Xbox 360,Xbox One s and X and ofcourse the new console So no need to buy a new consol unless theres a problem.
