Game share - two profiles, three consoles.

As far as I know, only one console with main account, and another as a secondary account, but one has no way. And you can put a main account on a console only 5 times a year.

If you set your xbox as his home xbox and purchase all the games and live gold subscription on his account then it will apply to your console and his account which he will only be using on his console at yours or his console at his mums one at a time, so
this will work, unfortunately any current stuff that has been purchased on your account wont be available on all 3 consoles, just going forward if you do the method i have sugested.

as he has the Xbox Live, you could set your Xbox as his Home Xbox so you would only need the 1 subscription to Gold.

he would have his Gold available on whichever Xbox he signs in on.

he'll only be able to play the games you own on whichever of his 2 Xboxes you set as your Home Xbox.

hopefully the game he plays the most will be in a sale soon.

you can change your Home Xbox, but you can only swap it 5 times in a 12 month period.

that might be a solution but would depend on how often he goes to his mother's.

That does not change anything if the digital games were bought on your account you can only share those games on your home console and like Njal the Blue said you can only set one console at a time as your home console.

Before you ask No there is no way to transfer the ownership of the games between accounts.

And you can only switch which console is set as your profiles home console.

The only way that he would be able to play your digital games on a console that is not set as your home xbox would be if your profile was signed in at the same time. The problem with that is you can only be signed into one console at a time.

I will give you an example of what I mean in my last paragraph.

Your son would first need to download your profile to the console at his mothers house. He would then be able to download any digital game that you own while signed into your account. The thing is in order for him to play those games he would have to have
your account signed in at the same time that he is signed in. So he would sign into your account then go in and switch profiles and sign into his account. He would then be able to start up and play your digitally owned games as long as your profile remains
signed in.

If he does this and you then decide to go to your console and sign into your account while he has your account signed in on the console at his moms it will sign you out of that console and kick him out of any game of yours that he may be playing. And vice
versa if you are signed into your account on your console and he happens to be at his moms and signs into your account there it will kick you off your console because each account can be signed in on one console at a time.
