Game share still not working

Yesterday I made a post asking why I couldnt access xbox live or game pass even though me and my friend were game sharing. He still has Xbox live and game pass. whenever i log into his account on my xbox it says he doesnt. His account still has my xbox
set as home on it. I factory reseted my xbox and all other suggestions i got. none of them worked. everything is the same. is there some setting now that im just overlooking? is my xbox broken?

Ok his Xbox is set as your home but is yours still set as his home? Also which account has the gold and game pass subscription?

If you are logging into his account on your xbox and you go into settings and under account go to subscriptions and it shows that he does NOT have those subscriptions that means he does NOT have active subscriptions and if you do not have those subscriptions
yourself then that is why it is not working.

Thanks for reaching out to us! I would recommend trying to sign into his profile directly then trying to install the game. Also, just double check that the other person does own the entitlement for "call of duty black ops Cold War". Otherwise, try to remove and re-add your account back onto the console.

Side Note: It is very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing it from the console.

Everyone was under their own gamertag right?? Thats the way game sharing works. Im not sure what the problem is now with Minecraft. Have you tried any other games to see if they are still working? Is gold still being shared through the consoles??

No one else uses my account. I have removed the person I game share with to test if the game will work on it's own with game pass and will still not work.
