Game Share Scheme (any updates ?)

As above i have been offered the shares from my local Game store, anyone here know when they will actually be distributed ?, i have a vague memory of possibly October.

Xbox game share in Japan

Hey everyone, I don't frequent the forums much, but I have a question that I would appreciate some advice or facts on. Also I'm not sure if I have posted this topic in the correct forum section.

My girlfriend who is living in Japan wants to get an Xbox One. I know about the Xbox game share scheme, but I don't know the rules regarding it and have never done it before.

We are both interested in the game share scheme, but my question is, can I do the Xbox game share scheme with my girlfriend in Japan? Or since we aren't in the same house/country is it illegal to do?

I would appreciate knowing more about this before even considering doing game share.

Digital "Trade Ins"

I think if Family Sharing for Digital Games comes back then we are all onto a winner and see the Digital benefits even without a Trade in scheme.

 

I have my shares already - what i want to know is when we can convert them into points to pay for games as they advised.

 

Yeah it was October, I'm assuming we will have an email when ready, they've risen a bit since launch too so should get a bit more

Received an email about this today guys, you can choose to redeem nothing, 50% or 100% on 16th October, further details to be emailed.

Oh and they are now worth £141 currently

 

I got that email last night too matey - tempted to get rid of the lot for £140 as there's so many games coming just before xmas

 

Heh, that's one complicated-sounding offer. The value of the shares could decrease, too, is that right?

Interesting to see some of the newer long-term customer retention ideas.

We get 5 chances to convert them into reward points, oct 16th is the first and March next year is the second chance, after that we have no idea

 

did anyone take up the opportunity to convert their shares into reward points? gave me £140 into my account on the 1st november, just in time for HMCC and CODAW

 

My email says that I've got until October 26th to decide. I will probably redeem them with Project CARS and CODAW coming in November (perfect timing).

I hope the share price doesn't suffer in the meantime but they were free to start with so no big deal.
