Game Share keeps stopping

He needs to have my account as home xbox even though i only want to his games and not the reverse?

Have you confirmed that his account still has your console as it's home console?

Has he changed which console is his home console? Once it changes, you will be asked for his account to be signed in.

No in order for you to play your brothers games on your xbox console you would have to make YOUR xbox HIS profiles HOME xbox as long as YOUR xbox is your brothers profiles home xbox you would be able to play his games and use any subscription that he has
(Gold, Game Pass, EA access).

If you do this and then come back at a later time and it tells you that you need to be signed in with the account that purchased the games that means someone signed into your brothers account on a different console and made that console your brothers home
console.

Keep in mind you can only have ONE console at a time as the home console so if your console is your brothers home console unless he is signed in at the same time on his console no other profile is going to be able to play his games on his console.

Let me explain it a little better with my setup as an example.

I have two consoles and I have all the games and subscriptions on my account.

I have a One S in my living room that I have set as home and my wife and stepson and anyone else that wants to play my games and use my subscriptions can use them on that console.

Console 2 is in my bedroom my wife is the only one in there that plays on that one but if she wants to play any of my games or use my subscriptions on that console she would have to have my profile signed in at the same time.

Also keep in mind you can only switch which console you have set as the HOME console FIVE times a year.

As zero stated if you are sharing home console with someone these could be coming from them purchasing games. To stop this just removing the profile will not help. You will need to set home console to you. Unless you want to keep sharing then you will leave
it, and then just stop these games from installing.
