Game Services Not Working ONLY with Halo Infinite PC Gamepass

Yeah, I gave up on Xbox PC and am now playing happily on Steam! I recommend anyone with this issue to uninstall Halo on Xbox app and install it on steam (download servers are about 5 times faster so it wont take you long. Sure no crossplay but at least the game runs and thats probably why. Since the servers seem cut off from the rest of the mess microsoft got with this botched launch. I only use game pass for other games now (will never play the campaign) and since it doesnt launch some games once my trial ends im probably out unless i get my reduced price back for participating in the original beta. I have to change emails if i want that which would suck but there are 3 months left i guess.

Same here, heard that reinstalling the hd textures can make it work for some, you have to click on the three dots button and manage install, but my xbox client won't even load the manage install page for me any more so I can't test it again. The more I try and make this work the more broken all these god awful microsoft apps become.

I hope you figured out the issue, but if not:

I had this problem before after using the xbox app to "manage the game" and install the campaign.

After doing the same step to uninstall the campaign, I was able to start halo infinite and install the campaign from within the game. Since then, the game starts up successfully every time from the xbox app.

can seccond, halo works on steam. ill check if xbox fixed their app in a month or two.

This always happens with Microsoft Gaming Services. Every week I need to perform all of this steps again and again to play any game in Gaming Pass, specially Halo, Forza, Gears. Other services like steam works without any issues. Microsoft really needs to fix this problem ASAP.
