Game server disconnects.

Hi, I'm having and issue regarding online gaming. For the last few months I'll be playing a game online,(usually halo 5), but most of the time I'll be in game and i'll get 1 of 2 messages, "disconnected from game server" or "disconnected from local network".
I don't get disconnected from xbox live any time i get either message, and i can use all my other apps, (sportsnet now, films/tv, etc...) All my other devices run fine. I've tried power cycling the modem, restarting my xbox, all that, but I might get 1 game
without a disconnect (even if I don't power cycle)before it happens again. is this an issue with my xbox, or is my modem faulty? something else? Thanks for your time y'all.

yes, but i can immediately go to any app that uses an internet connection and use it without any problems. its just games that fk me.

Wifi can be quite unreliable. Various things can cause poor wifi strength.

Are you able to move the console closer to the router to test.

If this does work, try Ethernet plugs.
