    Game says I must stay connected to xbox live to play?


    For some reason I can't play a downloaded game because I have to stay connected to Xbox live to do play. I can't control when Xbox logs me out of Live, and it is getting frustrating to not be able to play a game because of this. I thought downloaded games
    didn't need to be online all the time anymore. Wasn't that one of the things Xbox changed? Can't seem to figure out how to fix this. My Xbox one is connected through a wireless network, and when I test the connection it says everything is fine but then I don't
    have access to xbox live and can't play/update games.

    Games updates problem

    Updates are a must if you want to stay connected to xbox live.

    The only other solution is to play offline.

    Same issue. Also, when selecting "Online Game" from the menu, it says I must be connected to Xbox Live even though I'm signed in with a gold gamertag.

    Games updates problem

    Updates are a must if you want to stay connected to xbox live.

    The only other solution is to play offline.

    I can't get AW to connect either, it says "you must have an active network connection to play xbox live or system link matches" even though I am connected to Xbox live.

    How's the 360 version?

    I can't get mine to play… servers don't load. push play and it just stays on the connecting to matchmaking screen. Anyone else having this problem? i ran a connection test and it says I'm connected to xbox live no problems.

    I keep losing connection to xbox live.

    I am also having this problem I am losing connection on every game a play, including cod and fifa. My other devices all stay connected so it must be a fault with my xbox one

    Me too.... was in the middle run on one of the 2nd world (ice/arctic) courses and the game crashed with a connection error.

    Discounted from live I was only playing SP on World Tour but got a message up saying your must be connected to live in order to play the game!!!
