    Game saves.


    I enabled the cloud on my 360 and as far as I know, all my BC games played on the X1 transfered just fine. I played a match (Borderlands 1) via XBL on the 360 and found the thumbstick controls were better on my X1.

    Yet now when I go to play Borderlands 1 on my X1, my Borderlands 1 save isn't there anymore.

    What do I need to do to get my Borderlands 1 (lvl 69) games saves back over to the X1? If I disable the cloud the saves would be lost altogether wouldn't they?

    To me it seems like the save game problem is intentional. Once you start a quest it wont save anything until you are done with the quest. It makes dieing a little more personal, especially when you just got some end game items. I enjoy the extra challenge.

    Game saves.

    I would try going on to your 360 go to storage and Borderlands, then just transfer your saves to the cloud

    The save IS on 'the cloud.'

    I enabled the cloud on my 360 just today so I could see if Borderlands would play better on the 360 than it did on the X1 via XBL, it did, no-one experenced no glitches via the 360 as we did when I used my X1, when the MP session was over I then sought to
    continue playing solo on the xbox one, but couldn't. The only option it gave me was to start over at lvl 1??

    I have a tone of time invested in that game SOLO just to reach where I am now. lvl 69 with 3 Pearls in the bank on Underdome, and I do not want to lose the save.

    If I had known their was a chance to lose game saves, I would not have enabled the cloud on my 360.

    Normally they save it to your hardrive but if there's a save opption on the game it self you should use it

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about the state of your saved games after you remove an game from your console.

    As stated by the other Xbox Forums Ambassadors on this thread, along with the
    Xbox One cloud game saves FAQ    , all your save data is automatically synced to the cloud storage as long as you are playing these games while connected to Xbox Live, and if you properly close your games after each session.

    This means that as long as you know the email and password that is associated with your account, you will always be able to sync your saved games where you go that is connected to Xbox Live.

    As there is no further information that we can provide to you on this matter, and in an effort to prevent repetitive answers, we will now be locking this thread.

    The cloud will update your saves once the the game is reinstalled as your saves are automatically saved there. I have also gone the legth of transfering my saves to an external media device (usb stick) just in case I dont have internet access or, heaven
    forbid, corrupted data problems.

    If you were connected to the internet after playing Tomb Raider your saves are already on the cloud and will stay there even if you delete the game. They will also be available if you install the game again, even on different consoles.
